Remembering that fateful night

____"Not everyone can look back at their youth for Crowning musical achievements. Or was it Kohler?
____But I am happy to say that my youth was not misspent. In my college years the creative juices of my musical talents were tapped by one Jeffrey Reid Baker, better known today for his efforts in the classical synthesizer field.
____ He led an intrepid band of musical enthusiasts into truly uncharted territory. A place where even giants like Beethoven and Barry Manilow feared to tread.
____ Namely a college men's dorm lavatory. There we collectively labored to bring forth into the world a new musical work, the Concerto Grosso.
____ Now the magic of the World Wide Web regurgitates this masterwork for the whole world to fear, I mean hear."

Herb from New Jersey writes....

From the fecund mind of JRB, flushed with earlier success, comes a work that is moving, a work to be forever closely identified with the British inventor, Sir Thomas Crapper. It evokes a "stream of consciousness" in the listener, but requires that the listener evacuate previous conceptions. While some might disparage the technique as being alimentary, we were impressed with the .. "ca-thet-er" .."ca-thet-er".. "ca-thet-er" .. "ca-thet-er" onamotapaeic rythmn during the section that (for me, anyway) seemed to evoke the largest moon of Uranus, namely Urethra. One last thought (colon): Many great ideas have a Genesis. I can only presume that this composition had its start as an Exodus.
